Terms of service
Last updated 5 June 2026
1. Who we are
These terms govern bookings with Transmedia Communications Ltd (company no. 03196881, registered office 9 Station Terrace, London NW10 5RT). By booking a course you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings & payment
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received (card via Stripe) or once a purchase order / invoice has been agreed. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. Courses listed on our website include all materials and refreshments unless stated otherwise. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
3. Cancellation & transfers
- More than 14 days before the course — full refund or free transfer to another date.
- 14 to 5 days before the course — 50% cancellation fee, or free transfer to a date within the next 6 months.
- Less than 5 days before — no refund. Delegate substitution allowed at no cost.
You may substitute a different delegate at any time before the course, free of charge. Email [email protected] with the new delegate's details.
4. Course changes by us
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a course (e.g. due to insufficient bookings or trainer illness). In that case you'll be offered a free transfer or a full refund.
5. Delivery
Classroom courses run from our London training centre. Live online courses are delivered over Zoom; you're responsible for a stable internet connection and a working microphone + camera. Joining instructions are emailed at least 5 working days before the course.
6. Intellectual property
Course materials remain the property of Transmedia or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning + reference but may not redistribute, re-publish, or use them to deliver competing training.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the price paid for the relevant course.
8. Complaints & disputes
Email [email protected] in the first instance — we'll respond within 5 working days. These terms are governed by English law and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
