The short version
We collect only the information needed to deliver our training services to you, keep it secure, don't sell it, and we comply with UK GDPR. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].
Who we are
Transmedia Communications Ltd, 9 Station Terrace, London NW10 5RT. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). The data controller is Transmedia Communications Ltd. Contact our data team at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you make an enquiry — name, email, phone number (if provided), the course or topic you're interested in, and any message you send us.
- When you book a course — billing details, attendee names + emails, employer, any access requirements you tell us about. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- When you use our website — anonymous analytics (page views, referrer, device type) via Google Analytics 4. We use cookies for session management and ad attribution if you've consented.
- When you attend a course — attendance records and (optionally) feedback you choose to share via a post-course review.
How we use it
Strictly for delivering the training, communicating with you about it, sending the certificate and feedback request, billing, and (where you've opted in) marketing. We use SendGrid + SMTP to deliver transactional email, and may share data with HMRC, our accountants, and the companies whose software we're training on where strictly required.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data: 24 months. Booking records: 7 years (HMRC requirement). Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Feedback: indefinitely (with name removed on request).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can: see what we hold; correct or delete it; object to processing; export it; withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk/concerns.
Cookies
We use the minimum cookies needed to make the site work, plus optional analytics and ad-attribution cookies you can decline via the banner shown on first visit. Your choice is remembered for 12 months.
Updates to this policy
If we make substantive changes we'll update the date at the top and email anyone with an active enquiry or booking record.
