Modern slavery statement

Last updated 5 June 2026

Our business

This statement is made under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Transmedia Communications Ltd's slavery and human-trafficking statement for the financial year. Although our annual turnover sits below the £36m threshold at which a statement is legally required, we've chosen to publish one voluntarily as a statement of values.

Transmedia is a London-based professional training company delivering classroom + live online courses in design, video, AI, web, business, and office software. We employ a small core team of permanent staff in the UK plus a panel of freelance trainers, all UK-based, all paid above the Real Living Wage.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain is concentrated in the UK and consists of: our training centre landlord; office equipment and stationery suppliers; software and cloud-service providers (e.g. Adobe, Microsoft, Google, AWS); catering for in-person delegate refreshments; and IT equipment vendors. Where suppliers operate internationally we rely on their own published modern-slavery statements and supplier codes of conduct.

Our policies

  • Anti-slavery policy — explicitly prohibits modern slavery in any form within our business or supply chain.
  • Whistleblowing policy — staff can raise concerns confidentially without fear of retaliation; email [email protected] marked "Confidential — Directors".
  • Recruitment — we verify the right-to-work of every employee and contractor and never use unregulated employment agencies.

Due diligence

We assess new suppliers against a basic modern-slavery checklist before engagement and review existing suppliers annually. We'll terminate relationships where evidence of modern slavery is found.

Training

Our directors and the senior trainer team review this statement annually and are familiar with the indicators of modern slavery in the UK service sector.

Approval

This statement was approved by the directors of Transmedia Communications Ltd on 5 June 2026 and will be reviewed annually.
